Giving coal for Christmas is no longer a viable idea. It’s old hat. It’s hard to find and hardly anyone uses it anymore. Sending out a ton of Christmas cards postage due is probably not a good idea either. Get caught up in the spirit of giving and do something nice for others. If you are concerned about tarnishing your reputation as the perpetual scrooge then don’t tell anyone about your act of kindness. Keep it a secret. Have a beer. Think about what else you could do with coal.
